The perfect fit. I asked a former student where he wanted to go to college. He immediately answered Shippensburg University. He knew it was the right school the moment he saw the campus. His sister, also a former student, had the same experience with Albright College a few years ago.

Come to think of it, that was the way it worked for my nephews and niece. On his first visit, Christian knew he was going to attend Ohio State. Claire toured quite a few campuses, but she had a good feeling about Notre Dame all along. Greg just started at James Madison University, and he couldn't be happier with his choice. They are where they belong.

If we are blessed, we get the same feeling about our job. I can't think of any other careers I would have been happy in except journalism and then education.

If we are even more blessed, we know it when we find the love of our life. That's what happened when I met Jo Ann. It wasn't quite love at first sight, but I didn't have to know her long for me to be certain that I had found the love of my life.

Of course, we are all loved by God more than we could ever imagine. He has loved us from the beginning and will keep on loving us for eternity.

Some people realize this almost as soon as they can have an idea of who God is. Others don't discover this until years later. It takes some people their whole lives to recognize God's love for us.

Whenever this occurs, we can be sure of one vital fact.

Living in God's love; that is where we are meant to be.

Who else but God?

Where else but in His presence?
