PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Philadelphia police are searching for three suspects after four Temple University students were bound and robbed in an off-campus apartment.
It happened shortly before 7:30 p.m. Monday at the residence not far from the school's north Philadelphia campus. Police say three suspects followed a female student home to her second-floor apartment. Two of the men are believed to have been armed.
Investigators say the men forced their way inside and then duct-taped the woman and her three roommates before taking off with computer equipment, cell phones, credit cards and an unknown amount of cash.
The victims weren't hurt.
The university sent out a notice to students after the robbery, urging them to use caution.
