Students in sections 3A and 3B at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional School, completed
programs on wild animal life. Under the direction of science teacher Rita Nolter,
students researched and presented reports on animal size, young, locality, habitat
and food sources.

1-vehicle crash SHAMOKIN TOWNSHIP - A Winfield woman escaped injury after losing control of her car on Route 61 just south of Holly Road Saturday, according to state police at Stonington. Dahnya N. Heim, 32, was heading north on Route 61 around 4:44 p.m.
