Tabs on 45: Hyno, Giants back to work
Up next: Southern Columbia grad Henry Hynoski and his New York Giants' teammates return from their bye week to host Green Bay Sunday at 8:20 p.m. The game is set to be broadcast nationally by NBC.
Last week: Even with the bye week, the Giants held onto a one-game lead in the NFC East over the Dallas Cowboys with slightly more than a third of the season remaining. At the break, Hynoski has caught seven passes for 32 yards and rushed the ball three times for 12 yards.
In the media: Hynoski continues to garner mid-season accolades from the media. This week, a blog on ESPN maintained by Dan Graziano named Hynoski as the fullback on the All-NFC East team.
Meanwhile, Hynoski is officially third in votes for this year's Pro Bowl in a story by Ralph Vacchiano on the New York Daily News website. Hynoski has garnered 31,063 votes so far.
Following @HenryHynoski on Twitter: Good to see Hyno giving back:
"Had a great day at the NJ foodbank unloading turkeys and packing up pasta with some of the other @Giants...there is alot to be thankful for!"
