Kulpmont Football/Baseball Association
Meetings, first Wednesday of each month at 7:30 p.m.

Little League Registration
Any child ages four to 12 residing in the Shamokin Area or Mount Carmel Area School Districts may register to play Little League Baseball. Registration for players and coaches will be Feb. 27, 7-9 p.m. at the Miller Donmoyer Family Health Center, 255 W. Spruce St., Shamokin. All players must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, and any player new to the league must bring the child's original or state-certified birth certificate. Fee is $25 for the first child and $15 for each additional child in the same family. After Feb. 27, the fee is $40 for the first child and $20 for each additional child in the same family.
Mahanoy Area Biddy Basketball
Annual tournaments, March 15-17 for 3rd-4th grade boys, 5th-6th grade boys and 7th-8th grade girls, and April 19-21 for 3rd-4th grade girls, 5th-6th grade girls and 7th-8th grade boys. Cost is $125 for 3rd-4th grade teams, and $150 for 5th-6th and 7th-8th grade teams. Contact Robert McGee at 294-2044 for information or to register teams.
Shamokin Youth Softball
Open gym practice for youth girls softball ages eight to 14 of the Shamokin Area School District will be held at the annex gym on Sunday, March 10. Girls ages eight to 10 will meet from 4 to 5:15 p.m. and girls 11 to 14 will meet from 5:15 to 6:30 p.m. All girls must attend the Shamokin Area School District.
South Columbia Little League
Any child from South Columbia Little League areas, which includes: Catawissa, Roaring Creek Valley and Ralpho areas, who have not yet registered for baseball or softball for the 2013 Little League season, please contact Gary Stine 394-2640. Initial fee is $15 per child, uniform and fundraising fees are additional. Copies of birth certificate and three proofs of residency are required.
Instructional Baseball Clinic
Saturday, March 9, 9 a.m. to noon, at the Shamokin Area High School gym. Open to any child, ages 4-12. Fee is $10. Each child receives a t-shirt. Instructors include local baseball experts. Registration may be completed at the Shamokin-Mount Carmel Little League registrations or by calling 644-5050, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday through Friday. Deadline to register is Feb. 27.
Ralpho Tiger Youth Basketball
Basketball tournaments, for third and fourth grades, March 8-10; and for fifth and sixth grades, March 15-17 are being organized now. Games will be played in Elysburg, and entry fee is $150. Deadline for entry is March 1. For rules and an application, contact William Wetzel at 527-0339.
Long's Teener Baseball
Registration, Wednesday, Feb. 27 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Miller Donmoyer Family Health Center. New and returning players ages 13 to 15 are eligible to play. Registration fee is $40 and a copy of birth certificate is required. For more information, contact Brad Haupt at 259-8244.
Mount Carmel Junior Baseball League
Registration, Wednesday, Feb. 27, 6-8 p.m. at Mount Carmel Borough Hall. Registration is for new players and any players looking to change teams, ages 4-12. A copy of the child's birth certificate must be presented. Team representatives from Anthracite, Atlas, Clover Hose, Knights of Columbus, Kulpmont (2 teams), Locust Gap, Marion Heights and VFW will be present. Registrations for players ages 11-12 to play in crossover games in the Shamokin-Mount Carmel Little League will be held at the same time. Girardville Biddy Basketball

Special Olympic Swim Practice

Shamokin-Mount Carmel Little League

Shamokin Youth Volleyball

Pennsylvania District 13 Little League Umpires
Baseball and softball umpires clinic, Saturday, April 6, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Central Columbia Middle School. Registration is 8-9 a.m. Pre-registration is required. Cost is $20 per person and includes clinic materials, lunch and door prizes. Umpires should bring a mask. Marion Heights Junior Baseball Team
Final registration, Thursday, Feb. 28 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Ukranian Church at 144 E. Melrose St., Marion Heights. Players four to 12 are eligible, with the team especially needing players eight and nine years old for its roster. For more information, contact Coach Barry at 205-7394.
Little Shamokin Indians

Susquehanna University Youth Basketball Tournaments
Youth boys' basketball tournaments, Saturday and Sunday, March 16-17, at Susquehanna University, Selinsgrove. There will be five divisions for fourth-, fifth-, sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade boys' teams. Format is double elimination. Spots are filling quickly. Fee is $140 per team, per division.
