BLOOMSBURG - Bailey Bzdak scored a hat trick, and Mackenzie Clark and Anne Bryden each had two assists as Southern Columbia remained unbeaten (11-0-1) in girls soccer with a 4-0 win over Bloomsburg on Saturday.

The Tigers scored two goals in each half, although it took them more than 30 minutes for Bzdak to score the first. Sam Jankowski also scored for Southern, her first career goal.

Southern hosts Mount Carmel on Tuesday.

MINERSVILLE - Hannah Rinaldo had four goals and two assists as Minersville rolled to a Division II victory.

Rachel Sterner added one goal and two assists for the Battlin' Miners.

ALMEDIA - Ryan Evanousky and Kylie Fetterolf each scored two goals to boost North Schuylkill past Columbia-Montour Vo-Tech in a Schuylkill League Division I game.

Evanousky and Fetterolf each scored their goals in the second half as North Schuylkill pulled away from a 3-0 halftime edge.

CMVT gained a goal and assist from Maya Mayernick in the loss.

SHENANDOAH - Olivia Bonshock had 19 kills and Caity Pancher eight, and Ashley Huxta had 23 assists as Shamokin Area raised its record to 6-1 with a 25-12, 25-21, 23-25, 25-14 win over Shenandoah Valley.

Mariah Sands compiled three kills, seven digs, three blocks, eight service points and four aces for Shenandoah Valley.

Kristina Nieddu added eight points, two aces and 16 assists, while Alaina Demalis had 21 digs and three points for the Blue Devils.

Shamokin won JV 2-1.
