COAL TOWNSHIP - Mackenzie Koharski and Gabby Lahr scored second-half goals as Shamokin Area downed Loyalsock 2-1 in girls soccer Monday.

Brianna Martin had 12 saves for the Indians (4-3, 2-3 Heartland Division II).

Koharski broke a 0-0 tie with a penalty kick and Loyalsock tied the game on an unassisted goal by Allie Pagano. Lahr's unassisted goal at the 63:56 mark gave the Indians the lead.

Williams Valley 2 Line Mountain 1

HERNDON - Hannah Nestor scored the game-winning goal with less than a minute remaining in regulation to boost Williams Valley past host Line Mountain in a non-league game.

Nestor's goal completed a comeback for Williams Valley after Meadow Walshaw-Wertz scored early in the second half for Line Mountain. Emily Wessner then tallied 24 seconds after Walshaw-Wertz's goal to even the score. Kyrsten Miller assisted on Nestor's goal.

Winning goalkeeper Mary Radel posted five saves.

HUGHESVILLE - Mount Carmel's Ali Varano scored the game winner in double overtime for the Red Tornadoes over Hughesville.

Anna Zeluskey scored both of Mount Carmel's goals in regulation, off assists from Varano. Brianna Lutz had 15 saves in goal for the Red Tornadoes.

Krammes, Lyle Luckenbill and Tristan Coello each scored early goals, leading the Eagles to a Division I shutout of the Spartans.

Fritz Miller added a second-half tally for Blue Mountain, while Bryant Penberth collected two assists.

COAL TOWNSHIP - Ben Rautzahn scored Williams Valley's first four goals and Tristan Merwine recorded three saves in goal for the shutout as Williams Valley blanked the Red Raiders in a Division II game.

Four different players assisted on Rautzahn's goals. Steven Hill tallied the winners' final two goals, one of which was assisted by Rautzahn. Jake Carl added two assists for Williams Valley.

Lourdes Regional was limited to three shots on goal.

COAL TOWNSHIP -- Olivia Bonshock had 14 kills and Ashley Huxta had 20 assists as the Indians swept the Trojans, 25-14, 25-17, 25-12.

Brie Bonshock had seven assists and nine digs, and Stef Hile had eight kills for the Indians (5-1).

Shamokin JVs won 2-1.

COAL TOWNSHIP - Richelle Van Horn collected 10 kills, 10 assists, 17 service points, three aces and two blocks as the Panthers defeated the Red Raiders 19-25, 25-13, 25-10, 25-14 in a Division II match.

Jessica Wiese added 10 kills, 11 service points, three blocks and four digs, while Kayla Kashlak finished with seven serrvice points, an ace and five digs for Panther Valley.

Panther Valley won JV 2-0.
