SHAMOKIN - The Bernie Romanoski Chapter of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame has released its inductees for 2013.

Inductees include former Shamokin Big 33 player Tim Fanella and Indians' hoops standout Bruce Barr. Southern Columbia and Wilkes University star Chad Fabian and Lourdes basketball and softball player Carolyn Bull will join the class as well. Line Mountain will be represented by former Mahanoy Joint three-sport athlete and longtime Danville baseball coach Dick Martz. Harry Reed, a football and wrestling standout and longtime coach at Coal Township, has also been named to the class.

Teams to be honored include Shamokin Area's 1975 Eastern Conference championship squad, the 1989 Indians' District 4 football title-winning team and the District 4 champion girls basketball team from 1996.

The Hall will also honor Violette (Nezerski) Feudale with the Francis "Moto" Gurski Community Service Award. Longtime Shamokin Area wrestling booster Don Blessing will receive the Harvey Boughner School Booster Award and longtime Shamokin Area assistant track coach Joe Wightman will receive the Ed Binkoski Coaching Award.

Selected on a rotating basis, this year's Joseph Bordell Scholar-Athlete awards will go to Shamokin Area's Samantha Schiccatano and Darien Levi Craft.

The Hall will also pay tribute to former Warrior Run and longtime Shamokin Area boys basketball coach Joe Klebon, who posted 581 career wins and whose teams won eight District 4 Class AAA championships.

The induction breakfast will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 27, at Masser's Banquet Hall.
