MANDATA - Mount Carmel Area scored only three goals, but allowed only one, winning two games and the Marc Kissinger Trophy in the Line Mountain boys soccer tournament Saturday.

In the opener, Jake Horan scored the Red Tornadoes' (2-0) only goal in a 1-0 victory over Northumberland Christian.

In the second game, Ian Kanezo scored twice as they stopped the host Eagles 2-1.

Milton 4, Shamokin 1

MILTON - Shyloh Witmer scored the first goal of the season for Shamokin in its Heartland Conference loss to Milton on Saturday.

Loyalsock 2 Mount Carmel 1

MOUNT CARMEL - Mount Carmel's Ranotta Ahrensfield scored in the second half to cut Loyalsock's lead in half, but the Red Tornadoes couldn't manage an equalizer against the defending state champs.

Megan Van Doren made five saves in goal for Mount Carmel.
