SELINSGROVE - The racing season will kick off Friday and Saturday, March 19 and 20, at Selinsgrove Speedway with the Insinger Performance Products RoC Icebreaker III Weekend. In case of inclement weather, Sunday, March 21, has been reserved as a rain date.

"There are many people really looking forward to this weekend of racing," said RoC Administrative Director Andrew Harpell from his office in Binghamton, N.Y. "And the best news of all is there is absolutely no snow on the ground at the Selinsgrove Speedway, so we're ready to go racing."

Gates open at 5 p.m. for the March 19 Race of Champions Dart Dirt 358 Modified Tour show. A drivers' meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:45 with hot laps at 7:10 and the first heat at 7:30 p.m.

The 358 modifieds will run a complete show of heats, consolations and a 25-lap feature. Hot lap sessions for the big-block modifieds are also scheduled.

The March 20 Race of Champions Dart Dirt Modified Tour show will see all gates remaining open following the Friday night racing program. This will allow all racing teams the opportunity to arrive early on Saturday and be able to unload their cars without being rushed.

The grounds will be cleared at 1:30 p.m. and all gates will then officially open at 2 p.m. A drivers' meeting is scheduled to begin at 3:10 with hot laps taking place at 3:30 and the first heat at 4 p.m. A complete modified show of heats, cash dash, consolations, non-qualifiers feature and a 50-lap feature will be run.

If the March 21 date is needed, gates will open at noon with a drivers' meeting at 12:50, hot laps at 1:20, and the first heat at 2 p.m.
