LOCAL SPORTS: Lourdes softball defeats Schuylkill Haven
SCHUYLKILL HAVEN - Winning pitcher CharLee Rosini struck out nine and helped her cause at the plate with a two-run double in the fourth inning, leading Lourdes to an 8-7 Schuylkill II softball victory over Schuylkill Haven on Wednesday.
Emily Long and Caity Avellino added two hits each for the Red Raiders (2-1, 1-1 Sch. II).
Morgan Wagner hit an RBI double in the three-run fifth inning for the Hurriacnes.
