The Eagles got the job done with a five-run outburst in the seventh inning.

Savannah Copson earned the victory, helping herself out with a 2-for-4 day, including a triple, at the plate.

Jayci London and Bre Boyer added three hits and two RBIs apiece for the winners.

Deidre Long and Brooke Long also had multi-hit days for Line Mountain.

COAL TOWNSHIP - Austin Fry improved to 3-0 this season, holding Lewisburg to just three hits in the Heartland II victory.

Fry struck out four in five innings of work in a game shortened by Shamokin's offense.
