JERSEY SHORE - Scott Bradley (200 freestyle, 500 free) and Kyle Koontz (50 free, 100 free) were double winners as Shamokin's boys swimming team raised its record to 11-2 with a 108-59 win over Jersey Shore Thursday in a makeup meet.

Josh Scheuren (100 butterfly) and Andrew Griffiths (100 backstroke) also won for the Indians, who took all three relays as well.

Boys basketball Lewisburg 69 Mount Carmel 50

LEWISBURG - Lewisburg put four players in double figures, led by Erich Klline's 15 points to down Mount Carmel, 69-50, in a Heartland Athletic Conference Division II game Thursday.

The loss dropped the Red Tornadoes, who are battling for a District Four playoff berth, a game under .500 at 8-9 (5-5 Division II).

Travis Conrad scored 14 points, Marcus Meslener 11 and Ryan Flannery 10 for the Green Dragons (13-3, 7-2).

Jacob Kleman scored 12 points to lead Mount Carmel.

FOUNTAIN SPRINGS - Kyler Burke scored 23 points and Larry Zimmerman 10 to lead the Cardinals to a Schuylkill League win over the Spartans. Burke scored 12 of his points in the third quarter, including a 7-for-7 performance at the foul line.

Brandon McClosky and Jake Rakowsky scored 16 and 11 points, respectively, for the Spartans.
