H.S. SPORTS: Shamokin baseball wins second straight
MAHANOY CITY - Brady Haupt, Thomas Campbell and Logan Mirolli belted two hits apiece, leading Shamokin Area to its second consecutive victory, 11-6 over Mahanoy Area in non-league baseball action Monday.
The Indians, who defeated Warrior Run Thursday for their first victory of the season, built a 9-2 advantage through five innings against the Golden Bears.
Campbell had a double and single, while Mirolli drove in two runs on a pair of singles. Haupt knocked in one run.
Campbell earned the victory on the mound, working the first five innings. He allowed six hits while striking out five and not issuing a walk.

MANDATA - Cory Warford and Kellen Masser combined on a three-hit shutout as the Eagles improved to 12-3 overall, 10-2 in the Tri-Valley League with a win over the Buffs.
Lewisburg 4 Lourdes 2
LEWISBURG - The Red Raiders jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first inning, but the Green Dragons scored one in the second and two in the third, then didn't trail the rest of the way.
Angelique Pennypacker and Karley Spangler led Lourdes with two hits apiece. Spangler had a double and triple, while Pennypacker had two doubles.
Peyton Klembara was tagged with the loss.
