BLOOMSBURG - Bloomsburg University's football team will be featured in a nationally televised home football game when the Huskies host PSAC-East rival Shippensburg University on Thursday, Oct. 31 at Danny Hale Field at Redman Stadium. The game will be one of six to be featured on the CBS Sports Network in 2013.

The six-game Thursday night slate opens Sept. 5 and features seven teams from last year's championship field, including two national semifinalists. Teams appearing in this year's television package combined for a 102-30 (.773) overall record last season.

"We are honored to be selected as one of the six Division II games for this year's schedule," said Bloomsburg University Director of Athletics Michael McFarland. "This is a great opportunity for us to showcase our outstanding facility to a nationwide audience."

The Halloween night matchup is not only a matchup of PSAC East teams it will be a rematch of 2012 Harlon Hill Trophy winner, Shippensburg quarterback Zach Zulli, squaring off against Bloomsburg running back Franklyn Quiteh, who finished third in the Harlon Hill voting.
