Route 54 closed for several hours; rig tangled in utility lines

NATALIE - Route 54 between here and Bear Gap was closed for several hours around 5 a.m.Sunday after a tractor-trailer was disabled under utlity wires that snapped off a pole along the highway.
The rig was being driven east by Soctt Floris, no address given, according to Coal Township police, in whose territory the incident occurred.
A PP&L crew wa dispatched to replace the pole and repair the wires.
Overlook and Elysburg firefighters and Ralpho Township police and fire police also responded.
Also about 1 a.m. Sunday, an automatic fire alarm brought units from Elysburg, Overlook and Catawissa to Southern Columbia Area High School for a minor smoke condition. It was reportedly from an inoperative motor,
