TIONESTA, Pa. (AP) — Police say a Pennsylvania man is dead after he and his wife struggled over a handgun she pulled on him during an argument.
State police say 68-year-old Larry Bruce Angert was shot once in the head Saturday night at a camp in rural Forest County, about 60 miles north of Pittsburgh.
Ruth Maxine Angert allegedly brandished a handgun during the dispute and the gun discharged as she and her husband fought for control of the weapon. Larry Angert died at the scene.
Ruth Angert was held without bail Sunday morning on charges of criminal homicide and aggravated assault. Court records don't list an attorney for her.
Investigators say the couple lived in Butler, about 40 miles from the scene.
