The News-Item sports department will be reporting results from the PIAA Wrestling Championships at Hershey's Giant Center throughout the weekend:
Here's what we have so far:
- Seth Lansberry (138) of Line Mountain defeated Matt Humes of Saegertown 9-0.
He advances to Friday's quarterfinal when he'll wrestle Nick Gavazzi of
Charleroi.
- Blake Marks (152) of Southern Columbia decisioned Tyler Harrington of Fort
LeBoeuf 6-4. He will wrestle Northern Lehigh's Ty Herzog Friday in the
quarterfinals.
