DUNMORE, Pa. (AP) — Police say a northeastern Pennsylvania woman faces charges after she stopped her car on Interstate 81, ran in front of a tractor-trailer and then tried to kick the driver out.

The Times-Tribune of Scranton reports (http://bit.ly/TlDh1j) it happened Monday near Dickson City.

State police say 45-year-old Clarks Summit resident Carol Stancavish stopped her car on the highway and ran in front of the tractor-trailer. Police say she then attempted to get in the truck and tried to kick the driver out as he tried to help her.

Investigators say she then ran north on the interstate before being arrested.

Stancavish faces charges of public intoxication, driving under the influence, disorderly conduct and other counts. A message left at a telephone listing for her was not immediately returned.
