FINE: Senate Bill 187 would direct that all proceeds from the $60 million fine imposed on Pennsylvania State University by the NCAA be used to fund programs in Pennsylvania aimed at preventing child sexual abuse. The Senate approved the measure 50-0 and sent it to the House. A yes vote supported the bill.

OVERSIGHT: Senate Bill 66 would provide more oversight for the State Tax Equalization Board which handles tax equalization matters in school districts that cover more than one county. The Senate approved the measure 49-0 and sent it to the House. A yes vote supported the bill.
