GAMES: House Bill 1098 would allow non-profit organizations affiliated with minor league teams to conduct 50/50 drawings at home games. The House approved the measure 177-19 and sent it to the Senate. A yes vote supported the bill.

MERGE: House Resolution 129 authorizes the Legislative Budget and Finance Committee to study the feasibility of merging the Pennsylvania Game Commission and Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission. The House approved the resolution 197-0.

CLINICS: Senate Bill 5 would authorize $4 million in state grants to community-based health care clinics that are managed by nurses, volunteers or hospitals. The Senate voted final approval of the bill 49-0 and sent it to the governor for signing.
