House Bill 1773 would create an exit strategy for municipalities in the state recovery program for fiscally distressed municipalities. The House approved the measure 156-42 and sent it to the Senate. A yes vote supported the bill.

House Bill 1728 would authorize schools to post the motto "In God We Trust" and the Bill of Rights in school buildings. The House approved the measure 172-24 and sent it to the Senate. A yes vote supported the bill.

House Bill 112 would set tougher penalties for the offense of sexual assault by a sports official and for the murder of a child. The Senate approved the measure 45-1 and sent it to the House for concurrence on amendments.
