DNA: Senate Bill 150 would require individuals arrested for serious crimes to submit DNA samples. The Senate approved the measure 38-9 and sent it the House. A yes vote supported the bill.

SCRANTON: House Bill 128 would allow Scranton city employees who are veterans to immediately start buying military service credits to apply to retirement benefits. The House approved the measure 196-0 and sent it to the Senate. A yes vote supported the bill.

ANIMALS: House Bill 164 would create the misdemeanor offense of possessing paraphenalia used in animal fighting. The House approved the measure 199-0 and sent it to the Senate. A yes vote suppoerted the bill.
