Hey, Sound Off. This is the caller from Mount Carmel about the gazebo. I repeat, the gazebo in the Town Park, it looked nice when the kids from the vo-tech came up and painted it and redid it. Now the kids in the Mount Carmel area are destroying it again and writing graffiti all over it.

I wish you could build a couple more prisons so this way a couple more drug dealers can come into this town. I know you won't put this in the paper because you are all cowards.
Channel 15
Why doesn't Service Electric have a contract with channel 15? They have good things on at certain times and different things. I like that channel.

This caller that called in about Obama and that it is not his problem that we lost the jobs: Well, why doesn't he thank Bill Clinton for losing the jobs? He is the one who signed the free-trade agreement.
Taking action
After seeing all the complaints about the recent drug bust, some Sound Off readers and concerned citizens took action. For answers to your questions and complaints about the drug busts and the offenders being returned to the street, please attend the drug town hall meeting at Shamokin Area High School auditorium from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. A panel of distinguished Shamokinites and other agencies will dismiss your myths, answer questions and distribute information about drugs and what you can do to stop it.
Veterans Day appreciation
A thank you goes out to Applebee's from us veterans, and also on Route 11 and 15 south of Sunbury, a car wash gave a free car wash on Veterans Day to those eligible. Also, the Golden Buffet just down the road gave a free all-you-could eat meal with components that were all delicious. Thank you to them, also.
Community involvement
If you want to see community involvement and pride, visit the Kulpmont town park and check out the deer pen built by the Kulpmont Sportsmen's Club. Great job, guys.
Same old
I would like to know why every time they have a Northumberland County drug bust it is always the same people. You would think that they would do something about it.
