Proof in pudding
I see all these divorces in the paper. I guess that just proves that marriage isn't for everyone.
The Ryan budget plan includes the elimination of Obamacare. It does not embrace it.
Change is needed
The articles on prison guards brought tears to my eyes. Crime pays; the prisoners have all the rights. They have nothing to lose. A big change is needed in the prison system. Thank you, and have a good day and a better tomorrow.
Have too much
I am wondering why the inmates should have the right to sue. They shouldn't have any rights at all; they are in there for a reason. I think they get too much already given to them.
Obama is an accomplished liar and actor. Bill Clinton and Tom Hanks must be coaching him. He is a pagan and it appears that his only desire is to destroy the morality and influence of Christianity upon our nation. This, along with his intentionally bad fiscal policy, the Democrats policy of free government hand-outs, abortion on demand, same sex marriage, the infringement on religious freedom and the right to bear arms, will eventually turn our Christian nation into a pagan, godless, communist-style socialist state.
This is in reference to the 99 steps. For $335,000, they should put an escalator in.
While Paul Ryan and the Republicans refer to all those who paid into Social Security and Medicare for a lifetime as takers, one wonders why he was not more judicious with his costly votes as he voted for the Bush tax cuts, two unfunded wars and the unfunded Medicare D program.
The robins are back in Wilburton. Let's hope the Weather Channel is wrong about the big storm for next week. It was great to see those pretty robins.
Please do not equate civil unions with the dignity and sanctity of a marriage between a man and a woman. It neither shows respect for the state of matrimony or the creator who created you. Frog's take: Dignity and sanctity? You see all the divorces in the paper?
I am calling in response to the person who called about the spiteful, vindictive people at Line Mountain. Before you speak about something, get your facts straight. Line Mountain did not keep Zain Retherford from competing his junior year, the PIAA did. The Benton fans, students and parents were rude, spiteful and just plain ignorant to Seth Lansberry at states. Frog's take: A sports writer in Bloomsburg scolded those Benton fans in a column.
I see in the paper that the new deputy treasurer is asking for a raise. For what?
That was a nice story in the paper about the new Shamokin football coach Yisrael doing that community service with the football players. I think he is going to be a good role model for these boys.
