COAL TOWNSHIP - Kasi Ristine, a 2011 graduate of Shamokin Area High School, has been named to the dean's list at West Chester University for the fall semester with a grade-point average of 3.75.
A 2011 all-state musician at Shamokin Area, Ristine is majoring in music education at West Chester. She is a member of the symphonic band, women's chorus, tuba/euphonium ensemble and the Incomparable Golden Rams Marching Band.
She is a daughter of Scott and Rhonda Tomcavage, of Coal Township, and Joseph and Jennifer Ristine, of Philadelphia.
