Luzerne County Community College honors list

WILBERTON NO. 1 - Cory R. Kowaleski, of Wilburton No. 1, was named to the honors list at Luzerne County Community College for the fall semester, after earning a grade-point average of 3.353.

Kowaleski, a sophomore, is enrolled in the surgical technologist program. He is a member of Divine Redeemer Church, Mount Carmel, and is the owner of Cory's Car Wash, which is operated during the spring and summer months.

A son of Richard and Debra Kowaleski, he is a 2008 graduate of Our Lady Of Lourdes Regional School. He plans to enroll in the nursing program after completing his surgical technologist degree. He is a grandson of Dominic Ventilli Sr., of Wilburton, the late Maryanne L. Ventilli and Rita R. Kowaleski, of Mount Carmel, and the late Frank A. Kowaleski.
