SHAMOKIN - Braxton Pappas, a son of Mathlene and Dennis Campbell and David Pappas, of Shamokin, has been named to the dean's list for the fall semester at Thomas Jefferson School of Nursing in Danville with a grade-point average of 3.66.

He is a 2010 graduate of Shamokin Area Junior-Senior High School.

He is a grandson of the late Matthew and Doris Sosnoski.
