IUP graduates

INDIANA, Pa. - Two area students completed requirements for graduation from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in May.

Corey A. Pilkus, of East Center Street, Elysburg, earned a Bachelor of Science in management information systems.

Jaclyn Rose Purcell, of Missouri Lane, Kulpmont, earned a certificate in school psychology.

IUP dean's list

INDIANA, Pa. - Several area students have been named to the dean's list for the spring semester at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

To earn dean's list honors, a student must be full time (12 or more credits) and have a grade-point average of 3.25 or higher.

Local honorees are:

- Corey A. Pilkus, Elysburg, majoring in management information systems.

- Julie Laskoski, Kulpmont, accounting.

- Corrine Jacqueline Filipczak, criminology.

- Cassandra Candance Olear, Mount Carmel, finance.
