KULPMONT - The Holy Name Society of Holy Angels Church sponsored a Father's Day family breakfast in the activity center.

Fathers, mothers, sons and daughters attended the 8:30 a.m. Mass which was celebrated by the Rev. Andrew Stahmer in honor of fathers. During the homily, children and fathers were invited to sit at the foot of the altar. Stahmer spoke directly to the children about how important fathers are to the family.

Robert Daniels, the master of ceremonies, welcomed everyone to the breakfast. Stahmer gave the invocation, which was followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. The guest speaker was mayor Bernie Novakoski. Charles Mannello, president of the Holy Name Society, welcomed all to the breakfast and thanked the officers and members for their support. Special appreciation was extended to Joe Cesari.

After the program, drawings were held for children's gifts.
