COAL TOWNSHIP - Jennifer Kalinowski, of Coal Township, has been named to the Shippensburg University's dean's list for the spring, 2014 semester with a 3.785 grade point average. She graduated cum laude May 10 with a Bachelor Of Arts in psychology and a minor in coaching.

While at Shippensburg, Jennifer was inducted into Psi Chi, an international honor society in psychology and was a member of the psychology club. She was a member of the Shippensburg University Lady Red Raiders basketball team. She received the Practice Player Of The Year Award and Free Throw Champion Award. She was also named a PSAC Scholar Athlete for the 2013 season. She travelled to Hawaii with the team and competed against other Division II teams in the Hawaii-Hilo Tournament in 2012.

Jennifer had an internship with the Shippensburg Head Start Program and received an outstanding volunteer service award. She also was an assistant coach with the Shippensburg Panthers, a seventh and eighth- grade volleyball team.

Kalinowski plans to futher her education and pursue an occupational therapy degree. She is a 2010 graduate of Our Lady of Lourdes Regional School.
