PORT CARBON - One of the two men still wanted in connection with last week's home-invasion robbery and fatal shooting in Shenandoah is in prison after surrendering to police in Reading early Saturday morning.

Julius Charles Enoe, 30, of 411 Fairview St., Reading, was arraigned Saturday afternoon in connection with

the shooting death of Bruce Lee Forker.

Enoe was formally charged with one count each of criminal homicide, robbery, burglary, theft by unlawful taking or disposition, aggravated assault and simple assault; four counts of recklessly endangering another person; and six counts of criminal conspiracy.

On Thursday, Damon Ennett, 29, of Freeland, surrendered and was charged with the same offenses as Enoe.

Enoe was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge David A. Plachko, Port Carbon, who committed him to Schuylkill County Prison without bail. Plachko told Enoe the capital offense charge of criminal homicide carries a maximum penalty of life in prison or possibly the death penalty if aggravating circumstances are proven by prosecutors.

Ennett was arraigned Thursday morning by Magisterial District Judge James K. Reiley, Pottsville, and also jailed without bail.

A manhunt involving the U.S. Marshals is under way to locate a third man alleged to have been involved in the robbery and homicide, Jahmal Ollivirre, 19, of Brooklyn, N.Y.

"We are still looking for him," state police Sgt. Raymond Guth said Saturday. "We believe there is a good chance he may be in New York City."

In his affidavit or probable cause, lead investigator Trooper Edward Lizewski said Enoe admitted to Ennett that he had shot Forker.

Ennett, Lizewski said, admitted being at the scene of the 2:20 a.m. shooting and said that when he and the two others exited Forker's 333 E. Centre St. home, Enoe was in possession of the handgun and admitted firing the weapon inside the residence and watching Forker fall.

Early Tuesday morning, Lizewski said, Ennett, Ollivirre and Enoe forced their way into Forker's home to commit a robbery. During the course of the robbery, Forker, 24, was shot and killed.

Forker resided at the home with his girlfriend, Kasa Delana Brennan, and two children, a 5-year-old girl and a 1 1/2-month-old girl, all home at the time of the incident.

Police have said about $5,000 was taken, though no reason has been given as to why such a large amount of cash was in the home at the time.

"We can't talk about specific case facts at this time, although some of the money could have been an income tax refund," Guth said.

Guth also said investigators are not ready to release the motive for the murder.

A preliminary hearing for Enoe was scheduled for 9 a.m. March 29 before Magisterial District Judge Anthony J. Kilker, Shenandoah.

Anyone with information about the case or the whereabouts of Ollivirre is asked to call state police at 874-5300. Tipsters can remain anonymous by calling Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers at 800-4PA-TIPS, where a reward of up to $1,000 is given if information provided leads to an arrest.
