Northumberland County Judge Charles Saylor imposed the sentence on David Peter Huber for the misdemeanor offense.
The defendant was charged by Mount Carmel Patrolman Jason Drumheller with issuing a bad check in the amount of $23,130.94 to Modern Hail Repair Inc. and failing to make payments to cover the bad check. Police said the offense occurred between Oct. 1, 2011, and July 3, 2012.
