Police: Coal Township man's car hit motorcycle
LEWISBURG - A Mifflinburg-area man suffered what police described as "serious injuries" in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday in Union County.
Donald Stover, 61, was flown by Life Flight helicopter to Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, according to state police at Milton. An condition update was unavailable late Wednesday.
Police said Barry Feudale, 67, of Coal Township, was driving a Hyundai Tuscon east on Furnace Road about 7:20 p.m. when he drove through a stop sign and crashed into a Vulcan 1500 motorcycle driven by Stover.
Stover was stopped at a stop sign on Dreisbach Church Road, about 5 miles southwest of Lewisburg, and pulled into the intersection when the crash occurred, police said.
Feudale was not injured, police said.
An investigation continues.
