MILLERSBURG - The Millersburg man charged Friday with possession of child pornography is a physician assistant who has practiced in Schuylkill and Dauphin counties.

Arthur A. Zellner, 56, was charged with possession of child pornography, a third-degree felony, and corruption of minors, a first-degree misdemeanor, according to Trooper Edward Lloyd of the state police at Lykens. Lloyd confirmed Zellner worked as a physician assistant.

State police and Dauphin County Children & Youth Services conducted an investigation into allegations of child pornography being in the possession of the accused between 2004 and 2009. As a result of the investigation, it was learned by investigators that Zellner possessed child pornography in a photo album and on his home computer, police said.

During his course of conduct, a female juvenile had observed pornography he was viewing, police report.

Zellner was arraigned Friday before Dauphin County District Justice Rebecca Margerum and placed in Dauphin County Prison in lieu of $20,000 bail.
