Organization News: Our Lady of Hope Council of Catholic Women
COAL TOWNSHIP - The Council of Catholic Women of Our Lady of Hope Church met Oct. 15 in the parish center with prayer and the recitation of the Pledge of Allegience by president Margaret Forbes.
Envelopes were labeled for a bakeless bake sale. The nomination of Dee Pensyl as secretary was voted on. The treasurer's report was given by Violette Feudale. The rosary was recited every Wednesday during the month of October in the parish chapel.
Holy Angels Church will have a parish mission from Sunday to Wednesday at 7 p.m. each night, and the rosary will be recited at Holy Angels Church on Nov. 14 and 15.
An alternate date will be set for the next deanery meeting. The council's next meeting will be Nov. 19, and the meeting was closed with special intentions and 10 Hail Marys. Hostesses for the meeting were Feudale and Forbes.
