MOUNT CARMEL - The Council of Catholic Women and Rosary Altar Society held their monthly meeting in the parish hall of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church on June 6.

President Theresa Conniff brought the meeting to order. It began with the council prayers and the Pledge of Allegiance.

Debbie Gownley gave the treasurer's report.

Our Lady will be hosting the next Northumberland Deanery meeting at 2 p.m. Aug. 18 in the parish hall. New officers will be installed.

There will also be a 25-year and over anniversary Mass and celebration at 11 a.m. Sept. 8 in the church that will be sponsored by the Northumberland Council of Catholic Women Deanery. Dinner will follow the Mass.

Each parish who is a member of the deanery will have more information concerning this is their parish bulletin.

Pilgrim Statue will be at Divine Redeemer Church on Nov. 14.

Hostesses for the next meeting on Aug. 1 are Lois Sejuit and Rosemarie Korenkiewicz.

The meeting was closed with 10 Hail Marys for the active, sick and deceased members. Sejuit moved to make a motion for the meeting to be adjourned and Midge May seconded the motion.

Refreshments were also served.
