Veterans breakfasts planned
SUNBURY - In an effort to recognize area veterans who have served their country in the armed forces, Rep. Lynda Schlegel Culver (R-108) will host two veterans breakfasts in their honor.
Veterans can choose from attending one at 8 a.m. Monday, at the Front Street Station, Northumberland, or at 8 a.m. on Wednesday at the Watson Inn, Watsontown. Culver asks those attending to RSVP to her district office in Sunbury to ensure there are enough seats at each breakfast.
The representative will be distributing coupon books to attendees that will include special offers and programs being offered especially for veterans by many local businesses.
For more information, contact Culver's district office at 570-286-5885.
