AOAA focus of Sunday show

COAL TOWNSHIP - The Anthracite Outdoor Adventure Area will be featured on "Fisher's ATV World" at 9 a.m. Sunday on Discovery's Destination America channel.

The 30-minute show is promoted as follows at "This week Brian loads up the ATVs on his Diamondback and heads back to PA to check out the all new Anthracite Outdoor Adventure Area in Coal Township. This old strip mining area turned 6,000 acre off-road park offers lots of new trails to explore."

Fisher, originally from Dover, and his wife, Melissa, drove 12 hours from Nashville to tour the park May 8.

"I want to showcase a new place to ride," Brian Fisher said that day before hitting the trails. "When people see this on TV, they will come."

Fisher's ATV World has been airing nationally on Discovery's Velocity channel for 11 seasons and has filmed episodes in four different countries and 29 states. The show is family-oriented and focuses on a variety of travel destinations, including off-road parks and factory tours.
