MIDDLETOWN - Chet Davis, of Paxinos, was invited to participate in the Cultural Enrichment Fund of the Harrisburg area's first "Red Carpet Soiree - A Salute to the Arts" fundraiser/art exhibition at the Harrisburg International Airport Saturday, Feb. 22.
This will mark the first time an arts event will be held at the main terminal of the Dauphin County airport and the Hollywood style soiree is already sold out.
CEF has invited noted established and emerging artists from central Pennsylvania to exhibit one piece of their work in a show that will be viewed by more than two hundred art lovers and collectors. A portion of all sales will go to CEF, which is a nonprofit organization that supports capitol area arts.
Davis will display his award-winning surrealistic painting "Artist Dilemma." Davis exhibits extensively in the Harrisburg area and currently has work on exhibit at the Art Association of Harrisburg and the Gallery at Second Street.
