NSHS to perform 'Annie Get Your Gun'
FOUNTAIN SPRINGS - The North Schuylkill Theatre Arts Program will present the Broadway classic "Annie Get Your Gun" at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 4, and Saturday, April 5, in the North Schuylkill Junior-Senior High School auditorium.
"Annie Get Your Gun" is the story of legendary sharpshooter Annie Oakley and her tempestuous relationship with rival Frank Butler. In the late 1800s, the two toured both the United States and Europe as part of Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show. Their strong competitive personalities paired with an undeniable attraction to each other lead to some fireworks in this show.
Memorable Broadway tunes like "There's No Business Like Show Business," "I Got The Sun In The Morning" and "They Say That Falling in Love is Wonderful" are all part of this Irving Berlin classic.
Tickets are available from any cast member or by calling the high school office at 570-874-0495 during regular school hours. A limited number of tickets will be available at the door each performance evening. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
