MOUNT CARMEL - Paul Koleske will be in concert at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Koleske offers a unique combination of fresh, uplifting contemporary Christian music and inspirational spoken word for the Catholic church.

Office hours reduced

ATLAS - Due to budgetary restraints, the Mount Carmel Township Municipal Office will be open from 8 to 11 a.m. Monday through Friday, effective Monday.

1-vehicle crash SHAMOKIN TOWNSHIP - A Winfield woman escaped injury after losing control of her car on Route 61 just south of Holly Road Saturday, according to state police at Stonington. Dahnya N. Heim, 32, was heading north on Route 61 around 4:44 p.m.
