COAL TOWNSHIP - Shamokin's Relay For Life will hold its Wrap Up-Kickoff 2010 event at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in Lourdes Regional's Cafeteria, 2108 N. Jackson St.
There has been some confusion over the date of the event, which is Thursday, not Wednesday.
Anyone interested in participating in the 2010 Relay For Life is welcome to attend and sign up their teams. Dinner will be provided.

Register now for ice skating lessons
SUNBURY - The Susquehanna Valley Figure Skating Club will hold registration for ice skating lessons scheduled to begin Jan. 7. Registration will be held from 10:30 a.m. to noon Nov. 14, 6:30 to 8 p.m. Dec. 9, and noon to 2 p.m. Dec. 27. at Sunbury Youth and Community Center Ice Rink. SAHS to host SAT test
COAL TOWNSHIP - The SAT Reasoning and the SAT Subject Tests will be administered to pre-registered candidates on Saturday, Nov. 7. Check-in and room assignments will begin at 7:30 a.m. in the auditorium lobby for individuals who bring all required admissions documents and materials. All candidates must present photo/signature identification or an official letter of identification on school letterhead signed by either the school's principal or school's counselor. Students should consult their Registration Bulletin or www.collegeboard.com for additional information regarding test-day procedures. The doors to the test center will close at 8 a.m. Candidates are reminded to park their vehicles in either of the side parking lots. Travel arrangements should be confirmed prior to the test date. Candidates are reminded that refreshments and cell phones are not permitted in the test center.
