Swim lessons at Shroyer pool

SHAMOKIN - Swim lessons will be held at the Lawton W. Shroyer Memorial Pool, located on Rock Street, from 9 to 10:15 a.m. July 6 through 10. Cost is $10, which includes a donation to the American Red Cross. Interested participants can sign up during normal pool hours this week, or at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, July 6.

Reunion for DeLong School

WASHINGTONVILLE - The 10th annual reunion for those who attended or taught at the DeLong School in Washingtonville will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 11 at the Montour DeLong Fairgrounds. Lunch will be at noon. Please plan to attend and bring a covered dish. Hot dogs, drinks and paper products will be provided. We ask that each family bring a covered dish or dessert. If you will be attending the reunion, call Marge Shrawder at 437-2712, or e-mail delong_alumni@verizon.net.

Wildwood Forest vacation Bible school

PAXINOS - Paxinos Bible Church, Montour Road, off Route 487 between Elysburg and Paxinos, will host Wildwood Forest Vacation Bible School from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. July 6 through 10. Wildwood Forest is a fun and interactive learning experience for children ages 5 to 12. Children will embark on a bold adventure into the heart of God as they visit Discovery Sites throughout Wildwood Forest. For more information or to register, call the church at 672-9356.
