Military News: Army specialist returns from deployment
Army Spc. Dale E. Kratzer has returned to the U.S. after being deployed overseas at a forward operating base to serve in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
Kratzer is a military policeman with the 164th Military Police Company based at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. He has served six years in the military.
He is a son of Terry L. Kratzer, of Hummels Wharf, and Karen L. Yohn, of Winfield. His wife, Deeva, is a daughter of Terry L. and Naomi Roden, of Susquehanna Avenue, Sunbury.
Kratzer is a 1999 graduate of Selinsgrove Area High School.
Operation Enduring Freedom is the official name given to anti-terrorism military operations involving U.S. troops and allied coalition partners.
