MCA to present junior high musical

MOUNT CARMEL - The Mount Carmel Area Music Department will present its first junior high school musical, "Schoolhouse Rock Live! Jr.," at 7 p.m. on Nov. 21 in the Richard F. Beierschmitt Auditorium of the Mount Carmel Area Junior-Senior High School. 

The show is directed by Sharon L. Styer. Director assistants are Samantha Allen, Diane Gidaro, Hayley Stepp and Amber Reed. Stage crew consists of Nicole Horsfield, Shawna Facer, Bridget Wagner, Cheyanne Kramer, Adam Joraskie, Tirus Twyne, Jordan Watkins, Jonathan Thomas and Samantha Yuschock. Lighting and sound technicians are Robin Hampton and Amy Besser.

The Mount Carmel Area Junior High School cast and crew, consisting of students in grades 7 through 9, includes: Eric Joraskie, Michael Swatski, Jessica Pachuski, Rachel Startzel, Christopher Stellar, Tara Demko, Brandon Young, Brianna Latovich, Marisa Montgomery, Jared Maciejewski, Bianca Sandoval, Isabella Stellar, Lee Amarose, Samantha Miscavage, Cody Dietz, Kassondra Martz, Alison Reinhardt, Tiffany Rutledge, Natalie Jackson, Brittany Venna, Alex McLeod, Kaitlin Horsfield, Chelsea Matos, Coral Swank, Marissa Scipio, Marissa Klinger, Darla Hood, Kaitlin Milo, Callie Hummel, Brittany Gummel, Katelin Ivey, Nicole Purcell, Caity Avellino, Kirsten Gallagher, Brianne Graff, Paige Hornung, Madison Watkins, Taylor Stefovic and Brianna Lutz.

Tickets for the show are $5. Doors will open a half-hour before curtain time. Tickets will be available at the door. All seats are general admission.
