Student of the Month is senior Cody Deitz, a son of James Lahr, of Shamokin, and Karen Deitz, of Mount Carmel. Cody's activities include news reporting, Odyssey of the Mind, student council, art club, Interact club, MCA band and pep band. Cody is the vice president of the senior class, secretary of the senior high chorus, and president of FTA. Cody is on the distinguished honor roll, National Honor Society, was voted "Most likely to come back as a teacher," and was a previous Elks Teen of the Month. His interests include painting, writing and spending time with friends. Cody's future plans are to attend Bloomsburg University to major in secondary education and English.

Junior Student of the Month is junior Christian Kelley, a son of Robert and Angela Kelley, of Kulpmont. Christian is a three-sport athlete, who excels in all football, basketball and track, along with maintaining a outstanding GPA. He is a member of the National Honor Society, National Athletic Honor Society and National Society of High School Scholars. He enjoys sports, weightlifting and plans to attend a four-year college to major in materials or chemical engineering while continuing to play football.

Teenager of the Month is Sara Parker, a daughter of Kevin and Patty Parker, of Kulpmont. Sara is an MCA cheerleader and participates in Odyssey of the Mind. She is on the distinguished honor roll and is in the National Honor Society. Her interests include shopping, watching movies, listening to music and spending time with his family and friends. Sara's future plan are to attend college to become a lawyer.

Junior Teen of the Month is Michael Makowski III, a son of Michael Jr. and Jennifer Makowski, of Marion Heights. His activities include football, baseball and basketball. Michael is a distinguished honor roll student and in his free time, he likes to play video games, collect football cards and spend time with his family and friends. His future plans are to become an orthodontist.
