Local attorney's son appointed to Maryland chiropractor board
BETHESDA, Md. - Dr. Michael N. Moskowitz, of North Potomac, Md., son of Attorney and Mrs. Myron M. Moskowitz, Shamokin, and grandson of the late Ely and Fannie Moskowitz, was recently appointed to the Maryland State Board of Chiropractors by Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley, for a period of four years.
Moskowitz attended Shamokin schools, and after graduating from Shamokin Area High School in 1976, he attended the University of Maryland and then the New York College of Chiropractic, graduating with a chiropractic degree in 1985. He practices in Bethesda, Md.
Dr. Moskowitz has three children, Adam Ely Moskowitz, a second-year law student at George Washington Law School, Washington D.C.; Lisa Moskowitz, now a senior at the University of Arizona, who has recently been accepted to chiropractic college, and Fara Moskowitz, a junior in high school.
Dr. Moskowitz's patients, staff, friends and family are extremely proud of this new opportunity and look forward to watching him continue his thriving practice and passion in chiropractic care.
