KULPMONT - Members of the Kulpmont Lions Club visited the Selinsgrove State School, with the main focus of the event being a visit from Santa Claus, who brought gifts to distribute to the residents.

Santa's helpers included Joseph Wanzie, Ron Smith, Dave Bango, Charles Bolesta, Frank Mirarchi, Fritz O'Hearn and Chet Gard. Santa's helpers set the tables for residents to enjoy comestibles, beverages and gifts.

When residents entered the room, all in attendance sang Christmas carols. Santa arrived with the singing of "Jingle Bells." He, along with his helpers, distributed the gifts.

The Lions project started in 1962, and has been repeated yearly by members to bring joy and happiness to others.

The club expressed appreciation to Juliann Wanzie for her help over the years in purchasing and wrapping the gifts.
