COAL TOWNSHIP - Four senior girls at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional School will vie for the title of homecoming queen for the 2012-2013 school year as part of the school's annual homecoming celebration. The winner will be crowned Friday at half time of the boys home basketball game against Nativity.

Candidates are:

Emily Greco, a daughter of Edward and Paula Greco, of Sunbury. A member of the United Lutheran Church, Greco is secretary of student council, a captain of the cheerleading squad and a member of the choir, Lourdes Singers, Respect Life, Girls Action league and Students Against Destructive Decisions organizations at Lourdes. She is also a competitive horseback rider and a member of the Backwoodsmen 4-H Club. Greco will be escorted by Tyler Holleran.

Korti Koshinskie, a daughter of Donald and Lisa Koshinskie, of Coal Township. A member of Our Lady of Hope parish, Koshinskie belongs to the Girls Action league, Respect Life, Students Against Destructive Decisions and Grotto organizations at Lourdes. She also plays soccer and basketball. Koshinskie will be escorted by Justin Howall.

Kara Kuehner, a daughter of Dawn Drumheiser, of Danville. A member of Our Lady of Hope Parish, Kuehner is treasurer of Student Council, a captain of the varsity soccer squad, vice president of the National Honor Society, president of Respect Life, president of the French Club, a student ambassador and is a member of the French National Honor Society, Girls Action League and Student Against Destructive Decisions organizations at Lourdes. Kuehner will be escorted by Daniel Costa.

Emily Long, a daughter of Scott and Angela Long, of Sunbury. A member of Our Lady of Hope Parish, Long is an officer of the Girls Action league and a member of the softball team, the Respect Life Club and Students Against Destructive Decisions. Long will be escorted by Michael Menapace.
